Who we supply

The shops we work with

Hot rod & custom builders

Chopped tops, hood sides, bellypans and one-off bodywork. English wheels, Pullmax machines and shrinkers cover most of the panel work involved.

Classic car restoration

Patch panels, quarters, floors and sills formed in original gauge steel, where reproduction parts are unavailable or a poor fit.

Aircraft & aviation restoration

Aluminum cowlings, fairings, skins and fillets. Wheeling machines and shrinkers suit the compound curves this work involves.

Race car & motorsport fabrication

Bodywork, ducting, floors and firewalls produced in-house, where turnaround time matters more than volume.

Coachbuilders & panel shops

Small-run and one-off body panels formed from flat sheet, without the cost of tooling up for a die.

Sheet metal & job shops

Ironworkers, bending rolls, guillotines, folders and presses for general fabrication and production work.

Across the pond

A British family business, now in Texas

The Quinn family has been in the machinery trade in England since the 1960s, and Tony Quinn has over 40 years in it himself. The business operates from a 10,000 sq ft warehouse in Cradley Heath, West Midlands, under 16-tonne overhead cranes, buying across the United Kingdom and Europe.

A large share of that machinery has always ended up crossing the Atlantic, one machine at a time, in containers that took months to arrive, bought on the strength of a photograph.

Quinn Bros Industries LLC was set up to remove that step. We fill containers in England, ship them into the Port of Houston and truck them up to the Hill Country. By the time a machine is listed, it is already in Texas.

What that means for you

No import to deal with. Duty, customs and ocean freight are already paid and done.

See it before you buy. All stock stands on our Texas floor and can be viewed under power before purchase.

Bought at source. Stock comes from Britain and Europe, where these machines were built and worked.

Over 40 years in the trade. Informed guidance on which machine suits the work you do, and the tooling that goes with it.

Our UK company

Quinn Bros Industries Ltd holds a far larger stock in England. Anything listed there can come over on the next container. If a machine is not listed, it can be found.

Questions

Common questions

Where are the machines?

At the Quinn Bros warehouse in Spicewood, Texas, about 30 miles west of Austin. Nothing is sold off a boat from a photograph. All stock can be inspected before purchase.

Is there any importing or customs to deal with?

None. Quinn Bros handles the ocean freight, the customs entry and the duty. By the time a machine is listed here it is landed, cleared and standing on the floor in Texas.

Can a machine be seen running first?

Yes. All machines can be viewed under power at our Spicewood works, by appointment.

Are these machines 3-phase?

Most European machines are. Customers commonly run them from a rotary phase converter, or from a VFD off a single-phase 240V shop supply. It is worth checking what your shop is set up for before you buy.

Do you list prices?

Prices are on request. Condition and tooling change the figure on every machine. Call or email and you will have a price the same business day.

Do you ship outside Texas?

Yes. Machinery is shipped to shops throughout the continental United States, with freight arranged to your door.
